RAmos ships the device which has a polished metal housing that resembles to the appearance of an iPod touch. It has a 4.8-inch WVGA touchscreen and Android 1.5. A Rockchip RK2808 processor is capable of decoding high definition video that includes MKV files.

The W7 has 128MB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage and provides Wi-Fi connectivity. As previous reports indicated, the W7 would integrate 3G components and would support Flash Lite. It is still unclear if either feature would be included in the device’s final design.

The W7 can be bought in China for 1,000 yuan, the equivalent of $145. RAmos has to announce the plans of the officially launch in other countries.

The device would occupy the higher end of the range with its 1.33GHz Atom processor and Windows 7. It would concentrate on style and sport a relatively low-key, brushed metal design and would only feature a few buttons. The near-exclusive interface of the device is an extra dense 4.8-inch touchscreen with 1,024×600-pixel resolution.

The MID device is designed to have Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity as well as multiple USB ports and speakers built-in. Information about the internal storage, battery life and other details are not known for now, as well as the shipping date that is still uncertain.

The MOTO Development Group has made it possible. The device runs Google’s Android 2.0 mobile operating system and allows developers to extend hardware features, develop applications and prototype interfaces. The MID is based on a Texas Instruments OMAP3430 CPU and has a five-inch OLED capacitive touchscreen. An LCD having the same size is also available. The AMP still sports high-end home device features, such as an eight-megapixel camera, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, with an optional 3G module. An USB port and an SD card slot used for expansion are also featured. The device also has a three-axis built-in accelerometer and a 3,000mAh battery.

A 3.5-inch and a 10-inch touchscreens that use different versions of OMAP processors are developed by MOTO and will eventually be available in 2010. Pricing information lacks for all these three devices.

Soyea has launched this 1.2GHz Intel Atom-based device with 1GB of built-in RAM. The handset has an 8GB solid state drive containing both Linux and Windows XP operating systems. Its memory can be expanded through the use of a microSD card, a dedicated slot being available for this purpose. Media devices such as a built-in webcam and stereo speakers are also provided. There is also a mini USB port, as well as a VGA port.

Connectivity is possible through Wi-Fi connection or a 3G module allowing China Telecom access. There is also Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR.

Soyea’s Z5 sports a 5-inch (800×480) resistive touchscreen.

MID-560.

Android 1.5 is, of course, the OS of choice here, so the inclusion of Chrome Lite, Gtalk, GMail, and Google Maps shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone. In addition to an ebook reader, games, and a photo viewer, the MID-560 also features a fine set of supported media formats that include DivX, XviD, H.264, AAC, and OGG.
