The Samsung Convoy is meeting the US military’s 810F requirements for resistance to dust, humidity, extreme temperatures, shock, vibrations, salt and fog. It is compatible with Verizon’s EVDO Rev. A 3G network, necessary for the two-way Push-to-Talk function. The Convoy has a two-megapixel camera and Bluetooth, as well as access to VZ Navigator maps. A 1,300mAh battery provides the necessary power.

Though the Chocolate Touch is a less advanced version of the Chocolate BL40, it continues the tradition of strong music capabilities having an integrated FM radio with integrated song ID feature and twelve presets, a dedicated key for quick access to music and Dolby Mobile sound processing, both manually and by using preset modes. Stereo Bluetooth A2DP support and a 3.5mm headset jack allow users to wear headsets or wireless headphones. The Join the Band feature allows users to tap their fingers on a virtual drum kit. The piano version lets them play on a full scrolling keyboard. A 3.2-megapixel camera is included and is able to capture videos, while its editing mode allows zoom, rotation, cropping and adding frames, stamps and messages.

The Samsung Convoy will ship on November 15th will be $50 with a two-year contract and a $50 mail-in rebate, while the Chocolate Touch is already available at a price of $80 with a two-year contract and after a mail-in rebate of $50.
