The BlackBerry Pearl 2 may be all shiny and pretty, but the iKon PDA phone from Psion Teklogix will withstand a brutal beating and never skip a beat.

The ulgra rugged PDA is designed to handle the worst that Mother Nature has to offer, all while keeping you connected to the wide world around you.


It's got a bevy of wireless radios hidden beneath that rough-and-tumble shell, include 3G cellular (GSM/GPRS/UMTS), WiFi, Bluetooth, and GPS. It'd probably be a big draw on the battery, but you could theoretically run all four radios at the same time too. You also get the option between Windows CE.NET 5, Windows Mobile 6 Classic, or Windows Mobile 6 Professional.

Other vital features include a full VGA display and the highest battery capacity of the market. Look for the iKon to head out into the field in December 2007.
