The DLNA stands for Digital Living Network Alliance, and the aim of this cross-industry collaboration is to bring all sorts of consumer electronics together, sharing multimedia through both wired and wireless networks.

We prefer the latter over the former, so that's why a device like this Sony speaker sounds so interesting.

The Sony NAS-C5 speaker is powered by DNLA, letting you share all sorts of different tunes through its WiFi-enabled radio and powerful speakers. The wireless network audio system sports a tiny display on the front to help you navigate through your networks and snatch songs at will.

From what we gather, it should be perfectly compatible with a wide range of audio files, including MP3, WMA, and ATRAC. And it has that whole retro chic thing going on too.
