Dell XPS To Be Launched

The XPS line from Dell has always been highly sought after by power users. Now, they will have another compact option in the form of the XPS m1330, a unit that now comes with an official price point. The Dell Canada ad depicted to the right shows of the four-pound laptop with a price of $1499. That's in Canadian dollars.
For that price, you get a speedy Intel T7100 Core 2 Duo processor, Vista Home Premium, 2GB of RAM, 120GB HDD, and a dual-layer DVD burner. You also get to choose from Tuxedo Black, Pearl White, or -- for the truly adventurous -- Candy Red. Unfortunately, the 13.3-inch color display will not be LED backlit (unless you toss in some more money).
If you hop on over to the American Dell website, you'll find a slightly different picture with prices starting at $1299. For that price, you get a slower process (T5250 Core 2 Duo) and less RAM (1GB).
