Nokia 8600 Luna Offers GSM and EDGE

Nokia fans will be over the moon that the Luna is finally out of the sky and into the market.

The Luna—or 8600, as its number designation indicates—offers GSM and EDGE, a handy combination indeed. The camera is wallowing at the low end of phone cameras, at 2 megapixels. The by-now standard MP3 player and Bluetooth capability are in attendance. File transfers are achieved via microUSB.


The selling points of this phone, however, appear to be the bling. First of all, it's a slider. Secondly, you have the smoked glass that encloses the viewscreen. Thirdly, that slider lets you see the keypad even when the phone is closed. Lastly, you have the buzz, which has been tremendous in the past few weeks, perhaps driven by Nokia itself.
