Think back. Way back to when Project Origami was but a myth that was making its rounds in the blogosphere. Since then, we've seen quite a few different variations to the UMPC formula, but none to my knowledge have decided to take the route that Raon did with their Everun UMPC.
Instead of making a thumbpad that is accessed on both sides of the display, effectively splitting the QWERTYness in half, Raon decided to plunk the entire QWERTY keyboard on one side, forcing you to hold the Everun UMPC in a vertical rather than horizontal orientation.
The Everun UMPC barely tips the scales at merely one pound. Key features include a 4.8-inch touchscreen (800x480), 600MHz AMD Geode LX 900 processor, Windows XP Home, Bluetooth, WiFi, and up to 7 hours of life on a standard battery (up to 12 hours with the extended battery). Storage comes for a 6GB SSD, 60GB HDD, or both.
The expected price, according to the product page, is "in the $600-$900 range."
