New Toshiba V401/V801 Gigabeat With 4-inch QVGA TFT Widescreen

Rocking 24-bit full-color 4-inch QVGA TFT widescreen displays (that's a lot of hyphens), the newly revealed Toshiba V401 and V801 Gigabeat players are designed to give you plenty of music and video content while on the go.
The two units are functionally identical in nearly every way with one notable exception. The V401 comes with a 40GB hard drive whereas the V801 PMP is equipped with an 80-gigger. They promise "natural sound quality on the smaller sized stereo speaker system." Adding to the musicality is the H2C (High order Harmonics Compensation) technology. In addition to WMV vids, these Gigabeat players will also swallow WMA, MP3, and WAV sound files, as well as JPEG images.
