Video: Intel Metro Notebook 0.7 Inches Thick

Remember the Intel Metro Notebook concept that we came across late last week? Remember how we were in awe over the fact that it measured a meagre 0.7 inches thick and weighed a barely noticeable 2.25 pounds? Computer renderings are great and all, but there's nothing quite like a hands-on session with the real deal, so here's a video of the Intel Metro Notebook.
The first thing that hit me about the video was that the display on the laptop appeared to be at a 4:3 aspect ratio. Outdated before it's even released, right? Well, turns out that the entire video was shot in 16:9 and then converted to 4:3 for YouTube-friendliness. What this means is that the color display is indeed a widescreen, even if it doesn't look the part. I figured this out after getting to about halfway through the video where you see the warped images of the sales rep.
In any case, the e-ink powered display on the outside of the laptop seems pretty nifty but it's painfully slow, even if you're only going to use it for Vista Sideshow. And in case you missed it the first time around, here are the specs to this super thin computing solution.
