For some business users, the Blackberry by RIM is the be-all and end-all. Not for Eric Lin of Phone Scoop, because he had the chance to take the Treo 755p for a test drive. By his own accounts, the Treo 755p "is a solid performer that addresses nearly every complaint we've heard from current Palm users." Yes, even Palm haters have something to love here.

From a purely physical standpoint, the Treo 755p is identical to the 750w, except that the navigation buttons around the D-pad are a little different. It is also very similar to the now aging 700w and 700p, except its "sleeker" and "ever so slightly thinner and narrower than the previous design." Signal quality was good, sound quality is "among the best we've tested", and the battery is surprising efficient.

On the downside, typing was difficult because the keys are small are spaced too close together. The QVGA display is bright, but "it does not appear to be capable of displaying any more text than the average phone displays." The fonts are too big.
