Hubo-Way Functionally Identical Segway Costs Half

Project Ginger didn't change the world as much as the developers had hoped. It could be because the Segway isn't exactly the most affordable people-moving solution out there, so let's leave it to the Koreans to create a version that costs half as much.

Created by the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), the Hubo-Way appears to be functionally identical to the Segway in just about every way. When you're stopped, the scooter balances itself. When you lean, it starts to turn. And yes, you'll get the same stares as Weird Al when you roll on by.

Think of the Hubo-Way as the Hyundai of the Segway world. Costs half as much, has the same features... but still makes you look like you cheaped out.
