Video: Renault Twingo Concept Provide Exceptional Fuel Economy

It's compact, utilitarian, and it's rocking a turbocharger. The Renault Twingo concept was recently taken out for a road test, and while its exterior appearance is definitely on the bland side, the inside looks about as high-tech as it gets.

For those of you who didn't catch it the first time around, the Renault Twingo has an engine that displaces a mere 1.2 liters at a time, but thanks to a fairly conservative turbocharger, the powerplant can develop somewhere in the neighbourhood of 100hp. Pretty miserly, right? Well, that's because they wanted to provide some pretty exceptional fuel economy... that and it's going to be marketed in Europe, a land of many sub-compacts.
