The Nuerburgring race track in Germany is a legendary proving ground for the absolute best supercars this world has to offer, and as such, it was the ideal location for the 2009 Acura NSX to take a few test laps. A bunch of spy pictures were taken recently of the concept mule, and I don't know about you, but the upcoming NSX is starting to look a little too much like a stretched out Honda S2000. Could the S2K and NSX be merging, sort of like what happened to the Integra and the Prelude with the introduction of the RSX?

In any case, the overall profile is similar to the Acura Advanced Sports Car Concept, but there are several significant differences that must be noted. For instance, the front fascia has been completely reworked, opening up a huge air intake in the center. All the lighting is also different, but naturally, more changes are likely in the works before this supercar ever makes it to production.

Oh, and perhaps most importantly of all, "the expansive hood on this mule definitely looks large enough to handle a V-8 or V-10 engine."
