Motorola RED KRZR K1 Available Now From Rogers Wireless

Looks like Bono has infiltrated the great nation of Canada, because Rogers Wireless has just announced that they will now be carrying the (RED) Motorola KRZR K1, as part of the PRODUCT (RED) campaign to fight AIDS in Africa. Unlike other RED products that we've seen launched in the marketplace, Rogers' RED version of the KRZR isn't exactly exactly all red. Instead, it is mostly black with red accents.


Naturally, the specs on this slim Motorola flip phone are identical to its non-RED counterparts. You get stereo Bluetooth, up to 2GB of optional memory, and a metallic gloss finish, as well as a 2 megapixel camera with zoom, video capture, and playback.

The PRODUCT (RED) KRZR K1 is available now from Rogers Wireless for $150 with a three-year contract. Motorola will donate US$8.50 directly to The Global Fund with each PRODUCT (RED) MOTOKRZR sold in Canada.
