Delta and Nintendo have entered into a deal to provide a little entertainment for travelers enduring long layovers at three busy American airports. A series of wireless download stations in Delta terminals in New York's JFK International Airport, Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson Airport, and Cincinnati/Northern Kentury International Airport will provide demos of Nintendo DS games that you can try out on your own portable system and then take with you on the plane.

DS fans will have to bring their own systems, since the download stations are simply data transmitters. That's probably not a problem, since the systems are eminently portable these days and are likely part of many travelers' luggage anyway.

Demo listings will be updated periodically. The ones now available are Cooking Mama, Elite Beat Agents, Brain Age: Train Your Brain in Minutes a Day, and Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Legend. (We suspect that that last one will be the most popular among readers of this website.)
