Downloads to PSP From Wi-Fi Hotspots With Sony Portable PlayStation Store

Leave it to Sony to catch up with the rest of the electronic world eventually. The latest evidence of this is the all-but-confirmed portable PlayStation Store, meaning that downloads to PSP from Wi-Fi hotspots are about to be a real possibility.


That's bound to be good news for PSP fans, both players and watchers. It seems a natural progression, being able to download games to a mobile gaming machine on the fly.

The one drawback that we can see is the time you'd spend waiting for your download to complete. Depending on where you are to access that hotspot, you might not want to spend the time it takes to download full versions of your PSP favorites. But having the option to do so is a good step forward.
