Run With Flash Drive

DIYers proliferate no matter what their field. Portable electronics is no different. The latest proof of this can be found in this rather odd-looking yet totally functional flash drive, which is buried within the confines of an otherwise ordinary-looking athletic shoe. Pop the top off, though (not something you'd normally do with a shoe), and you get a USB connector, which can plug into a desktop or laptop or anything else that has a USB port and transfer and/or store up to 1GB of data.

The price on this is a paltry US$20, which just goes to show that it isn't a real athletic shoe, since those routinely exceed US$100 in cost.

And just so we don't get accused of avoiding full disclosure, this flash drive plays nice with both Mac and Windows computers.
