Hydrogen-powered Chevys Cover 300 mile on One Tank of Fuel

About 300 miles. That's the distance between Rochester and Tarrytown, in New York. That's also the distance covered by a pair of Chevy Sequels, the first hydrogen-powered vehicles to go that landmark distance on one tank of fuel.
It was a publicity stunt, obviously. But that drive wasn't a piece of cake, like driving along the beach in Malibu. The two cars drove through traffic and along hilly, windy roads. The media pressure was on, and the cars came through.
The result is a step forward for hydrogen fuel proponents, certainly. It certainly helps that a giant company like General Motors is onboard with the move toward hydrogen. Maybe that company's throwing money at the problem will come up with an inexpensive hydrogen transportation and storage problem.
