Look around. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize that touchscreens are suddenly all the rage. Part of the blame can be directed at the Apple iPhone, but that hasn't stopped Samsung from getting in on the action with their own multimedia-centric device. The Samsung E890 doesn't have a physical keypad of any kind, opting instead for a full touchscreen interface, largely operated using your thumb.

The retractable stylus is quite attractive and will become useful when it comes time to send out emails and text messages. There's no on-screen QWERTY keyboard to speak of; instead, it's all done through handwriting recognition. The rest of the specs on this 14.6mm thick phone include a 1.3 megapixel camera, multimedia player, Bluetooth, TV-out, USB connectivity, and of course, that 2.3-inch touchscreen.

Based on the video below, I find that the UI is functionally and aesthetically identical to that found on my Samsung D900, so if I were to pick up one these bad boys, I'd definitely be in familiar territory.
