The Slideon, a Slider Multimedia Player

A slider PMP? That's right, it is just such a thing. It is the Slideon, and it features a control panel that slides under the screen, for maximum viewing of the audio menu or the video image itself. Is it an idea whose time has come?


The Slideon can accommodate audio or video images, using flash memory to store the requisite files. It can be recharged using the headphone jack, which is a novel use of that orifice.

About the only complaint that we can think of is the screen size, which can probably go larger if the controls can truly hide underneath. This is only a concept, though.
