2008 Accord Coupe Concept

There's still some camouflage on it to partially obscure the tail lights and rear windows, but this is as close to the production-ready 2008 Honda Accord Coupe as we're going to get. These spy shots "show a test car that closely resembles the recent 2008 Accord Coupe concept."

From what we can gather, the sporty number will have a rounded rear much like its smaller Civic cousin, but there is something about the profile that makes me think of a Ford Mustang. I can't quite put my finger on it.


In terms of North American sales, the Accord is easily Honda's best model and they hope to keep that trend alive with this new generation. Some rumors surrounding the vehicle include more horsepower, better fuel economy, cylinder deactivation, and lower emissions. Full-on production will commence around September with models popping up at showrooms shortly afterwards.
