Entire Range of Apple MacBooks Received Upgrades For Free

Although they didn't get Steve Jobs to cross a stage and give a speech, this news is still very useful to anyone in the market for a new laptop. The entire range of Apple MacBooks have received upgrades and none of these will cost you a penny more than you would have spent anyways.
The bottom end white MacBook, for example, went from having a 1.88GHz Core 2 Duo processor to having the 2.0GHz unit of its higher-end cousin. It also doubled its RAM from 512MB to 1GB, and increased its hard drive from 60GB to 80GB. The Super Drive also got a boost in speed from 6x to 8x including dual-layer support.
The MacBook that once rocked the 2.0GHz processor now gets a 2.16GHz brain to go with its larger hard drive. The white version now has a 120GB HDD, whereas the black one sports a 160GB HDD. Both of these also receive the same Super Drive upgrade as mentioned above.
