LG and Philips Teamed Up to Give Us First Flexible Color Screen

Awww, isn't that nice? Seeing two huge electronics companies playing nice with one another and creating something as sweet as the first flexible screen capable of displaying 4096 colors? That's exactly the case today, as LG and Philips have teamed up to create this flexible wonder, which is said to offer a fantastic 180 degree viewing angle.


Based on E-Ink Technology by none other than E-Ink of the United States, this flexible color display keeps the last image displayed in its memory, showing it to the world until you decide to change the picture. As you recall, e-ink displays only require power to change the displayed image, not to maintain it.
