Helio Ocean, First Dual Slider With Numeric Keypad And Full QWERTY in One

Yesterday we saw a video preview of the new Helio Ocean, and today it is officially available. Helio is marketing it as the world's first dual slider to combine a numeric keypad and a full QWERTY keyboard in one device. It offers the bells and whistles you would expect - music downloads, video on demand, a 2 megapixel camera, a browser, GPS functionality, Bluetooth, and all that. It has a fairly large (for the size of the device) 2.4 inch QVGA screen that switches between portrait and landscape depending upon which way you slide. Internal memory is 200MB, expandable to 2GB by microSD. The phone costs $295 and the retail availability will expand in the coming weeks. A $145 per month unlimited voice and data package is available from Helio if you are serious about getting the most out of the device. preview of the new Helio Ocean, and today it is officially available.
