Xebra Three-wheel Plug-in Electric Vehicle To Deliver Domino

You had to see this coming. Or maybe you didn't. Regardless of your prognostication abilities, it's here. It in this case is the Domino's delivery car, and it is a Xebra.
If you haven't heard of the Xebra yet, you will. It's a three-wheel plug-in electric vehicle that looks distinctive enough by itself to turn heads on the street. Adding the Domino's color scheme makes it even more a thing unto itself.
The car was part of a publicity stunt in Las Vegas, a joint venture between the pizza giant at the Electric Vehicle Company. A Domino exec said deliveries in such a vehicle was no more nontraditional than those delivery people who now use bicycles or scooters.
This kind of thing is already happening with distinctive automobiles. SMART cars are being pressed into service as portable billboards. It's only a matter of time until this becomes more prevalent. The electric nature of the vehicles is a selling point as well, not only with environmentalists but also with those who want to stop paying horrendously high gasoline prices.
