New NVIDIA GeForce 8M Series Fully Accelerate Decoding of H.264 Full HD Movies

Notebook PC screens can do things now that we would have only dreamed of five years ago. NVIDIA wants to make the changes even more pronounced. Their new GeForce 8M Series of graphic processing units are the first for a notebook to support DirectX 10 and to fully accelerate decoding of H.264 full HD movies. That leaves the CPU free to do other tasks, and it significantly reduces the heat, noise and power consumption of the computer. With all of that you'll never want to turn off your PC again. The performance of this GPU will be more than 2 times better than current GPUs on the applications it is designed for. The chips are soon to be available through major makers including HP, Toshiba, Acer, Samsung, and ASUS.
