Well, Mother's Day is coming up and every woman you know is having a birthday at least once in the coming year. And although they'll never admit their age to you, they might just admit to liking this sort of thing. We very much like it as a concept anyway.
It's a series of notebooks called Tulip E-Go. Each comes in a purse-shaped, color-filled package, not skimping on the functionality, either. The multimedia appeal is rather good, with an integrated microphone, webcam, wireless LAN, Bluetooth, four USB ports, and VGA and S-Video ports as well. Also built-in is a combined MMC/MS/MS Duo/SD card reader.
One other fun function is the Audio DJ, which can play CDs without powering up the notebook. A standard 100GB hard drive and DVD-RW optical drive round out the features.
The Tulip E-Go comes in a variety of designs but isn't exactly cheap. In fact, it's on the pricey side, coming in at US$3,125.
Bling alert: There's a Diamond version, which has actual diamonds in it. Yes, thousands of tiny precious stones are set in palladium white gold plates. Total carat weight is 80. Total price tag is US$384,000.
It's your money.
