Zap-X Electric Car Goes Up To 350 Miles Without Having To Recharge

Is this car from our world or another? If you loook closely enough at the lights and the hood, you'd swear that's a a face on there. But no matter, let's get to the cool name. It's the Zap-X, and its claim to special fame is that it is an electric car that needs just 10 minutes to recharge.
Not that you'd want to try this down the streets of your neighborhood, but you driving this car can push 155 mph. That 644 horsepower can get you up to 60 mph in just 4.8 seconds. Regenerative braking (which is just about standard on hybrids these days) helps conserve power as well. And you can also go up to 350 miles without having to recharge. But remember, that recharge needs just 10 minutes.
Keeping with the electric theme are the thermoelectric energy-collecting windows, which harness energy from the sun as well.
Some other rather nice features are a touchscreen computer (which, unfortunately, runs Windows XP), Wi-Fi and Bluetooth capabilities, FireWire and USB ports, and even hi-def video.
Along with the keyless entry, Zap has given us keyless ignition, which might sound like a good idea until you remember that it's all too easy to push that little button when you're fumbling around in your pockets for coins, pens, etc.
In case you're wondering, the Zap-X is a joint effort between Zap and Lotus.
