Well, that didn't take long at all. RIM just unveiled the Blackberry Curve earlier this week and already the major outlets have had a chance to give the business handheld a generous grope and feel. The overall impression of the Blackberry Curve is very positive, if these major news outlets and tech blogs are to be trusted.
Wired Gadget Lab is saying that the Curve is a well rounded page, no pun intended, with its "kick ass" media player. CNET is unhappy about the lack of WiFi and 3G, but they are impressed with its "best-of-breed design and a well-rounded set of features." In fact, they recommend the Curve to "consumers and mobile professionals alike." Laptop Mag says that this sleek smartphone can do much more than just e-mail, thanks to its "serious multimedia muscle." The New York Times is perhaps the most generous, letting the Curve share the "best smartphone" honor with the Treo 700p.
There you have it. The consensus is resoundingly positive on this "well-rounded" smartphone.
