T.sonic 820 Portable Media Player by Transcend With SuperColor OLED Display

Apparently competing in the same market as the Apple iPod nano, the newly announced T.sonic 820 portable media player by Transcend offers more than just music playing. The 1.5-inch (128 x 128 pixel) SuperColor OLED display can be used for playing videos and displaying photos as well.

That same display can bring on perhaps the most attractive (and potentially most annoying) feature on the T.sonic 820: karaoke. When loaded up with the appropriate files, you can enjoy karaoke-type lyrics display, helping you get in some last minute practice before your American Idol audition.


Rounding out the specs are an FM radio, e-book reader, digital voice recorder, playlist builder, 7 equalizer effects, a rechargeable lithium-ion battery good for "over 15 hours of continuous music operation", and high-speed miniUSB 2.0 connectivity. The T.sonic 820 MP3 player is available in white (2GB) and black (4GB) for US$125 and US$167, respectively.
