Alltel To Deliver Extra-Slim New Samsung Wafer SCH-R510

You want skinny? Alltel is ready to deliver with the newly announced Samsung Wafer SCH-R510. If it looks familiar, that's because the Wafer is fundamentally identical to the Samsung Trace available through T-Mobile, except that this one obviously sports CDMA radios rather than the GSM flavor of T-Mo.


The Samsung Wafer tips the scales at a mere 2.7 ounces and it is remarkably slim. The spec sheet is fairly decent, though, with a 1.3 megapixel camera, XM Radio Mobile, Axcess TV, Axcess Mobile Guide, and the celltop widget system. The best part is that you can nab this skinny wonder for just $49 after a $50 mail-in-rebate.
