Plezo PM-220 With Self Orienting Technology

I'm not all too sure how useful this would be, but it is certainly interesting that the color display on the Plezo PM-220 personal media player automatically rotates, orienting itself for the best viewing experience. I found the same kind of technology in my Canon PowerShot S3 IS digital camera wherein the LCD orients itself depending on how I'm holding the camera.


This "mini PMP" sports a small but useful 2.2-inch 260k color LCD, dual headphone jacks, 30fps video playback, MP3 player, FM radio, voice recorder, image/text viewer, and yes, even some rudimentary games to keep you occupied on the road. Despite having all this functionality, the PM-220 only comes with a mere 1GB of internal memory, so don't expect to store much in terms of video content.

The current asking price in Korea is 109,000 KRW (about US$117).
