Hydrogen Converter Gas Station Florida

The major cost of using hydrogen as a vehicle fuel isn't so much research as it is transportation and storage of the fuel. An energy company in the American state of Virginia might have the answer to that.

H2Gen is shopping a hydrogen-extraction device that has that elusive future fuel as its product, the result of converting methane in natural gas. Further, this machine sits right onsite, pumping out hydrogen at what the company says is six times more efficient a rate than what's possible now. And there's no need to spend any money on transportation, since the fuel is already there ready to use.

The Hydrogen Fueling Station can produce 113 kilograms of hydrogen a day, which is enough to fully fuel 20 cars or three large buses. A gas station in Florida is putting a station to a very public test. Larger stations are no doubt on the way.
