Wi-Fi iPod From Apple By The End Of The Year

An iPod with Wi-Fi? Sign me up.

It's about time. Apple is definitely working on such a thing and aims to have it on the market by the end of the year.

This isn't exactly a new idea, especially if you remember a little DAP called the Zune. But this will be an Apple Wi-Fi music player, and that will make all the difference.


One wonders, though, whether it will be superseded by the iPhone. Having Wi-Fi on a phone brings up the possibility of a CDMA-VoIP switch, which is something entirely fun to contemplate.
