16GB Express Card Transcend

Looking for a handy-dandy way to carry around 16 gigabytes of data, but don't want to hog up a USB port? Transcend has just the solution for you, because they've just created a Solid State Flash Disk that fits into your laptop's Express Card slot, packing in a full 16GB of documents, photos, and videos.

I'm not 100% confident that this extra memory can be used as part of Windows Vista's ReadyBoost mode, but I am sure that you can use it as a USB Flash drive replacement (although it'll be a touch bigger than a thumb drive). The other caveat that you'll have to keep in mind is that the 16GB Express Card from Transcend retails for a hefty 1,000 Euros (US$1,335).
