Suprising Center Console In Volvo C30

One of the first cars I saw when I made my way through the Vancouver International Auto Show was the Volvo C30, an economical hatchback catering to the entry-level market. I've seen a few commercials floating around on TV for this compact car, asking if people liked it or not. My initial impression of the vehicle as a whole wasn't all that positive with its odd profile and huge rear windshield, but when I got inside and took a seat, there was something pleasantly surprising.


The center console boasts a numerical keypad, presumably for Bluetooth conversations, but what's interesting is that there is a cupholder behind the console. Unlike other vehicles where the dash area is a relatively solid piece, the C30 has a thin board-like construction running down the middle, providing room for a cool beverage behind it.
