16GB USB Key from Buffalo

I'm not really sure what to make of this, because while the latest USB drive from Buffalo doesn't make use of Flash memory in the strictest sense, it maintains the same kind of compact form factor that we've all grown accustomed to. Instead of Flash, this 16GB USB key makes use of something called "Silicon HDD technology (although there's no disk)."


Because it uses HDD technology rather than Flash, I'd imagine that this Buffalo offering is more affordable than a Flash drive of equivalent capacity. The one big limitation here is that it is only compatible with Windows, though it'll work with 2000, XP, and Vista.
