Photo Forgery Identification Tool from Adobe

Photos like these are obviously "PhotoShopped," as the saying goes. So what's a poor photographer to do in order to prove that a photo he or she took is the real thing? Adobe, makers of PhotoShop, are planning to release a plugin for its wildly popular digital imaging application that would enable users to track all changes to a photo, sort of like successive layers but even on JPEGs, GIFs, and TIFFs. This plugin will even be able to detect the sophisticated process of cloning.

So if you're one of those guys/gals who doctor photos and send them to your friends, be aware that they will soon be able to detect your handiwork. And if you manage to shoot something like this and everyone doubts the veracity of it, you can show them that you haven't doctored it in any way.
