Palm pushed webOS 1.3.2 to Pixi users’ phones surprising them with this upgrade. Although the new version has no release notes, it seems to boost the performance of the Pixi, which is equipped with a slower processor than the Pre and is reported to stick when multiple applications are open.
A further update, the 1.3.5 version, is expected to come in two weeks, although not officially announced, and remove the 64MB limit in applications downloaded from the Palm App Catalog. The new release will also fix a bug that is described as dropping the character limit for an SMS message to 70 instead of 160, every time a special character is inserted in the text.
