AT&T has special offers

On November 25, 2009, AT&T has given details, for the first time, on its Thanksgiving promo (Black Friday). The company claims that deals will be available starting on Friday, at midnight. They also said that promos are prepared for each day of the weekend, but also for Monday. BlackBerries will be the stars on Saturday; on any smartphone contract, customers will get for free a Curve 8310 or a Pearl 8110. The Curve 8320 will have a better price – $50, as well as the Curve 8900, priced at $100.

Some of the company’s traditional messaging phones will be offered on Sunday, for free on any contract: Samsung Solstice, Magnet and Propel, Motorola Karma, LG Neon. Monday will be the day for some of the higher-end smartphones and media devices, which will be offered for one cent only: Nokia E71x, Sony Ericsson C905, Curve 8900, Pantech Reveal, and Samsung Jack.

There hasn’t been mentioned anything about any iPhone discounts, not even for refurbished versions. It seems that Apple’s pricing model has always prevented most of the discounts. AT&T doesn’t sell refurbished iPhones, as it has never done that. Some of the promos help BlackBerry remain the leader in sales, for the US. These promos include the BlackBerry giveaway and Verizon’s Buy One Get One deal.
