Qualcomm has unveiled one of the first smartbooks at its investor conference. The Lenovo design is somewhere between smartphones and netbooks in size and is based on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon processors. It will use AT&T-based Internet access besides Wi-Fi.
Other details are unavailable for the moment. However, it is supposed to use a custom Linux interface instead of using Android or another similar pre-built operating system. Complete information will come when Lenovo presents formally the smartbook in January, at the Consumer Electronics Show.
