The Pro, Share Video and Explore Video memory cards of Eye-Fi are now supporting FTP, as well as secure FTPS protocols, which allow them to upload directly to corporate or personal FTP sites, Eye-Fi recently announced. These features are especially helpful for working photographers or live bloggers, who are able to upload photos to companies’ FTP sites before reaching deadlines. Photos bound to FTP sites are confined to JPEG, which makes quality and flexibility to be somehow limited. The Pro version can upload RAW elsewhere. Previously, users were only able to upload videos and photos from Eye-Fi’s memory cards to sites with photo sharing capabilities. It is the case of Facebook, Flickr and other eighteen sites.

Eye-Fi’s Share Video memory card is priced at $80, while the Explore Video version sells at $100 and the Pro memory card has a price of $150.
