Rogers could be the first carrier in North America to pick up the HTC Touch2. The phone will be powered by Windows Mobile 6.5 operating system and could be presented in one or more colours that are not normally on the market, like red or blue. Even if not confirmed, the phone could have North America-native 3G. The HTC Touch2 is the entry-level, which is replacing the original Touch and uses a 2.8-inch resistive touchscreen. It sports Wi-Fi and GPS, as well as a touch-sensitive zoom strip similar to that of the more advanced HTC phones. Games and applications can be added from the Windows Marketplace. Users can stay in touch with their friends, check their mail, or browse the web. Chatting live on Messenger or accessing Facebook for social networking is just a tap away.
There is no information regarding the launch date or the price of the HTC Touch2 in Rogers’ network.
