After Verizon, Sprint also announced the BlackBerry Curve 8530 smartphone to come to its line-up. Sprint’s Curve 8530 includes preloaded applications such as Sprint TV, Pandora radio and Sprint Music Store that make the difference. BlackBerry App World with thousands of applications is accessible anytime. Sprint will sell the BlackBerry Curve 8530 in three colours – black, red and purple. Sprint has not announced the release date or the pricing information.
The Curve 8530 is the start level media smartphone of Research in Motion that has dedicated music controls and a quicker access to MySpace, Facebook and Flickr. The handset has Wi-Fi, GPS and 3G EVDO network support. The Curve 8530 has a QWERTY keyboard and a trackpad is replacing the trackball. The Curve 8530’s display has a 320×240 resolution and a two-megapixel camera.
