Audio-Technica’s noise-cancelling headphones are supposed to reduce the background noise by a maximum of 85 percent. The 40-millimeter drivers have neodymium magnets and can reproduce sounds from 10Hz up to 25.5 KHz with 109dB sensitivity and an impedance of 300 ohms. The new cups of Audio-Technica are a quarter inch taller than before, with inner openings that are at least an eighth-inch larger, and therefore more comfortable for users. The look of the new model was kept substantially similar to the E-P1, with a blue LED and a power switch mounted on the left ear cup.

The headphones run on an AAA-size battery for a 40-hour run time. The users will, however, be able to use the headphones even if the noise-cancelling battery is no more functioning. The design of the headphones is a fold-flat one. The package is including a 1/4 –inch adapter, an airline adapter and a carrying case. The ATH-ANC7b headphones are available for a price of $220.
