The ProMedia 2.1 speakers were upgraded to a new version, the ProMedia 2.1 Wireless. The same 70W stereo satellites and 130W subwoofer as the old version, but the audio signal is received from a 2.4GHz USB transmitter RF-based. The transmitter works with computers supporting USB sound. Even if the range has a 30-feet limit, but this is enough for notebook users who are audio consumers whatever their computer’s location is. The speakers put the volume and subwoofer levels, as well as the headphone output on one satellite. The wireless set is totally THX-certified.
Klipsch is shipping the ProMedia 2.1 Wireless for $200 and is offering the device through the online store for buyers from the United States.
