Rumors are saying that a new MSI netbook-like portable with the probable name Wind12 U230 could be released soon. Of course, there is no word about pricing or launching date, but this information could leak during the next days.

The new PC should be powered by the new AMD 1.6GHz Athlon Neo X2 dual-core processor, paired with an integrated graphics chipset from ATI – the Radeon HD 3200. The internal memory should probably be 1GB of RAM up to 4GB. Hard drives could range from 160GB up to 320GB. Also included is a web camera with 1.3 megapixels. The display is a 12.1-inch with 1,366×768 resolution. Connectivity is supported by gigabit Ethernet and Wi-Fi, an HDMI port, VGA connection and three USB ports. As for Bluetooth, it is optional. The power is provided by a six-cell battery allowing up to four hours of runtime. The whole thing should weigh about 2.9lbs. Other specifications relate to the older MSI Wind12 U210.

The operating system is Microsoft’s Windows 7.
