The Brazilian site CelularCafe has recently shown photos of Dell’s Mini 3iX, the Android-based smartphone. It seems that the new device has Wi-Fi support, 3G UMTS/HSDPA and bandwidths of 850MHz, 1900MHz and 2100MHz. Some time ago, it was rumored that Dell intends to present its Mini 3i design to the US market; these rumors are sustained by the addition of the 850MHz 3G components.

It was also rumored that the US version of Dell’s smartphone will be clearly improved, with a 5-megapixel camera instead of the 3-megapixel one. Despite this, the Brazilian sources affirm that the camera will be the same as the one from the Chinese 3i, even if the case is totally different.

Other known specs of the Mini 3iX are the 3.5-inch touchscreen with a resolution of 640×360, Exchange support, GPS, a MicroSD slot and Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR. Pictures on the site show a specific Android interface; the style is different from the Chinese 3i design, Ophone.

Official information on Dell’s new smartphone is still unknown, as it wasn’t officially announced yet in Brazil. The price and carrier of the phone are also unknown.
