Two new devices were introduced a few days ago by Buffalo – the WHR-HP-G300N Nfiniti Wireless-N Essential Router & Access Point and the WLI-UC-GNHP Nfiniti Wireless-N High Power Ultra-Compact USB 2.0 Adapter. They are both meant for wireless small office and home networks.

The router supports WPA2, WPA-PSK (TKIP, AES), and WEP up to 128-bit typical security layers and is performant enough to reach the peak speed of 300Mbps when handling multiple intensive video streams. The Nfiniti router has four ports for LAN connections through Ethernet, as well as WAN Ethernet port for the source.

The adapter is an upgrade option to built-in wireless modules in desktop PCs or notebooks and is faster than solutions with built-in Wi-Fi. The Nfiniti adapter also supports the in-house AOSS (AirStation One-Touch Secure System) and allows users to set up quickly wireless networks at high speed. The USB adapter seems to support Windows systems.

The WHR-HP-G300N and WLI-UC-GNHP will be released by Buffalo in early November and will be selling for $70 and $50, respectively.
