A high-end design for the SHIFT gaming PCs is already delivered by Maingear. Models are starting with a 2.8GHz Intel Core i7 processor-based and are powered by Windows 7. They have 4GB of RAM, a 750GB hard drive and video is supported by NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250. Upgraded models have up to 3.33GHz Core i7 Extreme processors and Radeon HD 5870 cards working in three-way CrossFire mode. The internal memory is up to 24GB of RAM and they also have up to 12TB of storage in six bays. USB, FireWire and audio, up to 6 HDDs or 12 SSDs, DVD and Blu-Ray options are supported.

The design is all-black, based on an aluminium chassis. Ventilation is provided in a natural way, upwards, by an Asetek vertically-aligned cooling system which cools the processor without using fans, instead of using the front-to-back system as most computers do.

Prices are starting high, at $2,199 for the base model, while other models start even $400 higher.
